Yoga & Healing with Leah

Leah DuBois has been guiding others in yoga, breath, and healing for many years, and has joyfully worked with humans from all walks of life. Her yoga students have had a wide range of areas to heal and strengthen, including past injuries, traumas, mental health turbulence, emotional balance, and stress. Leah has helped individuals deepen their yoga practice through movement and breathing techniques, and assisted in growth and illumination for many beginning yogi’s. Leah loves working with people totally new to yoga, and has a gentle, intuitive approach to assisting the body and soul’s natural ability to heal.
A session with Leah includes a conversation about the goals of the student, unique sequences tailored to individual needs, and energy healing to promote balance physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
Leah specializes in mindful meditation techniques, breath work (pranayama), sound healing (toning, crystal singing bowls), myofascial release, asana (yoga poses), and energy healing. She intuitively combines these methods to achieve harmony within, so the student feels in tune with their true self. Leah teaches in such a way that the student can ultimately become their own best healer, taking this knowledge to use during the journey of their entire lifetime.

What people are saying.

  • "10/10 - Whether you are just starting or advanced, I recommend Leah to anyone looking to improve their physical, spiritual, and/or mental well being. I came to Leah with ZERO experience as a yogi, during a very tumultuous time in my life. For the last 3 years, we have met weekly to practice yoga and mindfulness together. She is an incredible teacher and person! She has a multidisciplinary approach to healing and physical wisdom and brings in a variety of techniques to fit your comfort level and what your body needs that day. As an active weightlifter and someone who works too much, she can tell when I need a gentle, strong, grounding, or cleansing practice. She continues to help me grow as a yogi, overcome stress and anxiety, and listen to my body. I plan to continue practicing with Leah as often as I can throughout the ebbs and flows of my life."

  • “The yoga journey I have taken with Leah has been one of healing, education, and growth. Leah's deep background and knowledge of yoga, attention to mindfulness, and passionate work ethic creates an incredible experience for any level of student. Having taken individual classes weekly for over a year, I can attest that Leah brings care, creativity, and elegant detail to each class she teaches. Taking you as you are, Leah crafts a practice that plays on your strengths while being attentive to where you want and need to grow. I initially started doing yoga to care for an injury, but with thoughtful guidance from Leah it has become the foundation of my physical health and a key element to my mental health. Thanks to Leah, I am confident enough to bring my yoga practice with me to any studio knowing I will not only keep up but be able to modify any poses to fit my body just right..”

Ultimately in life we begin to deconstruct the walls we’ve placed around our heart. We become closer to our true selves, which is, in essence, love. This is one result of yoga & healing.
